A-10 Warthog Pilot Manual
The Fairchild-Republic A-10 may be designated as the Thunderbolt II, but it's better known by its descriptive nickname: the Warthog. Armed with a fearsome Avenger gatling gun, the Hog can take out tanks. Fitted with a titanium lined cockpit and a twin-engine configuration, the A-10 can take a severe hit and survive.
Originally printed by Fairchild and the Air Force in the early 90's, this Flight Operating Handbook taught pilots everything they needed to know before entering the cockpit.
Classified Restricted, the manual was recently declassified and is here reprinted in book form. This affordable facsimile has been slightly reformatted. Care has been taken however to preserve the integrity of the text.
406 pages, 8.5 x 11.00, softbound.

It should be noted that this book is a reprint of a document that was made publicly available on the internet. However, having it available in book format is very convenient for reading making it an interesting item for anyone interested in this subject.
Since this is a reprint of a document which is itself a photoprint or scan of the original A-10 manual, the printing quality is not as fine as in a common book. The letters are not as sharp and in some pages both letters and images are slightly faded out, due to the lack of quality of the source document, although still being perfectly readable. In fact, I've compared this book side-by-side with the original document and it's clear that care was taken to overcome the limitations of the original document in order to provide a decent quality print.
